PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delete, in an ATM, personal information in a passbook or a card medium dealt with by the ATM with user's consent on a screen displayed on the ATM, and recover the personal information.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction apparatus includes a card mechanism capable of reading and writing from/in a magnetic/IC card, and a passbook printing mechanism capable of reading and writing from/in a magnetic stripe part of a passbook. The card mechanism and the passbook printing mechanism, upon receiving consent of a user of the automatic transaction apparatus on deleting and recovering personal information in a card/passbook that is no longer used, delete and recover the personal information in a medium of the user. |
