PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability during a charging operation and to stop a reaping unit promptly in an emergency.SOLUTION: A reel/cutting blade clutch 18 for turning on and off the transmission of power to a reel 12 and a cutting blade 11 of a reaping unit 2 in the transmission of power to the reaping unit 2 is provided. To make a charging operation condition in which hand-reaped stalks are charged to the reaping unit 2 for threshing as the reel/cutting blade 18 is turned off and a cutting clutch 17 and a threshing clutch 16 are turned on with a combine harvester stopped, a control unit 45 has a charging control means which controls to turn the cutting blade 17 on and off, even with the combine harvester stopped, according to the operation of a charging switch 39 (switch unit 38) disposed outside of an operator's seat unit 7 where an operator is seated.
