PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slice device for bread and the like which can achieve a smooth cut surface, can quickly and easily change a cut width, and has excellent working efficiency.SOLUTION: A slice device for bread includes: a cut portion 22 which includes a plurality of round blades 1, 1A, ... for cutting bar-shaped bread and the like into bread pieces of a desired slice width and a driving shaft 28 rotatably supporting the round blades 1, 1A, ...; and a transfer mechanism for transferring an object to be cut, such as bread to a cut position by the round blades. A center round blade 1 is arranged in the center of the driving shaft 28 among the plurality of round blades 1, 1A, ..., and the other round blades are moving round blades 1A-15B arranged one by one to the driving shaft 28 in pairs symmetrically to the right and left of the center around the center round blade 1. The plurality of moving round blades 1A-15B are movably engaged in lateral direction with the driving shaft 28. A slide mechanism 26 is provided for making the plurality of moving round blades 1A-15B slide along the driving shaft 28. |
