PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing coil molding excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: A drawing part 2C prepares a coil 2 having a bent part formed by performing flatwise bending of a rectangular wire (coil preparation step). Next, a molding die 5 for forming a resin mold part on an external surface of the coil 2 is prepared, and the coil 2 is arranged in the molding die 5 (coil arrangement step). Finally, by holding a free end of the drawing part 2C having the bent part, an insulating resin is filled in the molding die 5 after holding clearance between the external surface of the drawing part 2C and an inner peripheral surface of the molding die 5 within a prescribed range, and a resin mold part is formed on an external surface of a coil element 2A and the external surface of the drawing part 2C (coil formation step).
