Provided are an electricity transmission system and a power transmission device with which it is possible to alleviate degradation of communication quality in a data communication, even when simultaneously carrying out the data communication and a power transmission. An end of a first communication unit (13) of a power transmission device (1) is connected to a first communication coupling electrode, and an end of a second communication unit (23) of a power receiving device (2) is connected to a second communication coupling electrode which is capacitively coupled to the first communication coupling electrode, respectively. Another end of the first communication unit (13) is connected to a first reference potential electrode of the transmission device (1), and another end of the second communication unit (23) is connected to a second reference potential electrode of the receiving device (2), respectively. The first reference potential electrode is positioned between the first communication coupling electrode and the first coupling electrode, and the second reference potential electrode is positioned between the second communication coupling electrode and the second coupling electrode, respectively. |
