The present invention relates to a motor for a thruster, which comprises: a case in which a shaft is installed to transfer rotary power to the thruster; a rotor supported by the shaft to be able to rotate in the case; and a stator provided at an inner peripheral face of the case to face the rotor, and including a plurality of coil members stacked along the axial direction of the shaft for generating magnetic force rotating the rotor, and a duct member provided in each interval between the coil members for connecting the coil members, wherein the duct member includes a plate having a penetration hole; and a plurality of radiation fins arranged radially along the circumferential surface of the plate on the plate while being separated from each other for guiding movement of air in the case. The duct member is characterized in that the height of each radiation fin increases from a side to the other side along the lengthwise direction of the shaft, whereby the air in the case smoothly flows around the stator and cooling efficiency is improved, thereby maintaining the high-power output of the rotor with one cooling fan, and reducing the manufacturing cost and the overall size of the motor. |
