PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile communication system capable of reducing the power consumption of a mobile station by uniting position registration or paging processing of each radio system. SOLUTION: In a mobile station 100 connectable to two or more kinds of radio systems, a position registration processing executed in a mobile communication system is executed for only one of the radio systems (communication network 101 or 111), thereby saving power of the mobile station 100. Furthermore, the mobile station waits for paging processing under execution in the mobile communication system, for only one of the radio systems (communication network 101 or 111), thereby achieving the power saving of the mobile station. Still further, upon receiving the paging, the mobile station 100 selects a less expensive radio system (111 in the figure 1) to execute a connection request for a radio line, an authentication processing or a U-plane establishment for voice, data or the like.
