<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a nickel oxide having nickel purity of 4 N or larger and a sodium content of 100 ppm or lower. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a neutralization step of neutralizing an acid aqueous solution of nickel ion with a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution or a potassium hydroxide aqueous solution to precipitate a nickel compound having the nickel purity of 3 N or larger; and a heating and water-cleaning step of heating the nickel compound to produce a nickel oxide and cleaning the nickel oxide with water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
