PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm that can prevent damage during its use. SOLUTION: The diaphragm 20 is provided for a filling device for filling beverage and a replacement gas into a can C and controls the flow of a gas containing the replacement gas. In the diaphragm, an elliptic, annular projection 20b is formed on the operating surface 20a of the diaphragm 20, which is disposed in contact with each of mounting surfaces 22a to 22c to which central passages 8a, 10a and 11a, respectively, in which the gas flows are connected at an angle.
