PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing efficiency of image processing for forming and outputting an image in an image forming apparatus having a plurality of operating means. SOLUTION: In response to the fact that a display list is stored, a band memory 202 is assigned to a drawing processing part 224 and rendering is started, the band memory 202 inputs the drawing information rendered by the drawing processing part 224 to a page memory 203, the drawing processing part 224 which has completed the rendering of all stored display lists informs that assignment of the band memory 202 can be canceled, and the band memory 202 is assigned to other drawing processing part 224 which requests assignment of the band memory 202.
