The detector (D1) has a detection stage (11) connected to a sensor (10), for generating a detection signal representative of a sure detection state or a non-sure detection state depending on the position of a target relative to the detector. A processing stage (12) receives the detection signal, and generates an output signal (S1-OUT) in the sure detection state or another output signal (S2-OUT) in the non-sure detection state, where the processing stage is arranged to deliver the former output signal in astable form in the sure detection state. |
