<p>The cooling gas driven by a main fan is heated during its passage through the rotor (11). As it emerges from the air gap (14) between stator and rotor it is directed radially outwards through discharge ducts (15) in the stator (12). From there it is fed back through a return duct (21) to the main fan (33)</p>
