A motor-driven compressor comprises a compression unit; an electric motor; a housing having an accepting chamber and a wire connection unit; a motor driving circuit having a substrate arranged inside the accepting chamber; a wiring part which is electrically connected to the substrate and which is extended to the outside of the housing through the wire connection unit; and a resin material seal member inserted into the wire connection unit. The wiring part comprises a first conductor having a first end connected to the substrate; and a second conductor which is connected to the second end of the first conductor and which is arranged outside the housing. The second conductor is made of a wire part and an insulating material; and has a sheath part for covering the wire part. The seal member covers the sheath part and a connection part between the first and second conductors.
