<p>A wind power generation system is provided. The system controls generated power of a generator via an electric power converter. When the electric power transmitted by the electric power converter is limited because the reduced cooling capability performing cooling on the electric power converter, variable control can be performed by the angle of pitch of blades so that input energy from the blades corresponding to the electric power which can be transmitted is controlled. Over rotation of the blades and faults of the electric power converter can be prevented. The system comprises cooling capability to the cooling system or comprises a transverter, a cooling capability detecting portion detecting the cooling state of the electric converter of the inverter, and an angle of pitch instruction correcting portion correcting the angle of pitch instruction via an angle of pitch instruction calculating portion. According to the detected result of the cooling capability detecting portion, the angle of pitch instruction correcting portion corrects the angle of pitch instruction and executes variable control instruction on the angel of pith of the blades according to the corrected angle of pitch instruction.</p> |
