The flange (1) has an annular flange (2) which is oriented about an axis (A). Several recesses (2d) are formed on the side (2a) of the annular flange for establishing a structure (8). A sleeve structure (3) is formed on the side (2b) of the annular flange and integrally adjoined with the recess around the axis. A terminal edge (3a) of the sleeve structure is formed for welding with a tubular section (5) of the tower. The sleeve structure is cohesively connected to the annular flange through a weld seam (4). An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing flange for tower of wind turbine. |
