<p>The invention relates to a winding machine (1), on which, in alternation, a spool (8) is wound in a winding position (13) of a spindle (5), while at the same time a completely wound spool (6) is removed from a spindle (4). With winding machines (1) according to the prior art having a small spacing (36) of the rotational axes (18, 19) of the spools (6, 8), the completely wound spool (6) must be removed quickly before the spool (8) has reached a critical diameter which would cause a collision of the lateral faces of the spools (6, 8). According to the invention, the completely wound spool (6) is moved by means of a displacement device (23) over a displacement path (25) before or during the winding process of the spool (8), such that the axial extensions (14, 15) of the spools (6, 8) have no overlap, but rather have a spacing (26). The collision of the spools (6, 8) can thus be prevented as the diameter of the spool (8) increases, whereby a more compact design with a smaller spacing of the spindles (4, 5) is made possible and an operator has more time to remove the completely wound spool (6).</p> |
