When a ship approaches a pier type quay wall, the forced oscillation is generated by the attack of ship wave that is a wave generated by the sailing of ship and a high sea attack wave that is a swell with the length period generated from the high sea, and is amplified by the resonance generated according to the period of natural oscillation depending to the shape of the harbor. The ship wave and the high sea attack wave generate strong flowing backward in the entrance of harbor, thereby significantly affecting the sailing of the ship which constantly goes out and comes in the harbor. The ship wave and the high sea attack wave make a chain to be disconnected due to the shake of the ship which is anchored in the harbor, thereby inducing a ship to collide, damages a structure or a safe facility in the harbor, and causes inconvenience to the cargo working. In order to solve the above problems, the pier type quay wall with a moving curtain member includes: posts which is arranged at predetermined intervals in at least two rows toward the high sea from the sea bottom apart from the shore by predetermined distance; an upper plate (4) which is arranged on the upper surface of the post in at least two rows; and a curtain member (10) which is provided on the upper plate. The curtain member (10) is moved to the sea bottom along the high sea side post of the posts in at least two lows, thereby reducing harbor wave at the time of the approach of a ship by partially or completely reflecting the harbor wave or increasing the loss of energy, and reducing the shaking of the approaching ship.
