The heat recovery system (1) has a bypass section (8) provided parallel to a heat exchanger (4) between a collecting box (3) and an outlet collecting box (6) and passing through an exhaust airstream. Sealing flap systems (91, 92) open or close the heat exchanger and/or the bypass section for receiving exhaust gas. A regulating unit i.e. control unit, monitors the heat recovery system and adjusts or controls the components of the heat recovery system during failure condition of the heat recovery system so that the bypass section is completely opened. |
