<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of adequately transferring the toner images onto the paper sheet while restraining placement of top ends offset of the toner images when transferring a first toner image and a second toner image onto a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A toner image (first page toner image) transferred on an intermediate transfer belt 6A is conveyed to a position 6C whereat the intermediate transfer belt 6A and a photoreceptor 2 come in contact with each other. At that time, the polarity of the toner image supported on the intermediate transfer belt 6A is reversed by the function of a non-contact type charging device 20 provided before a supporting roller 11B. A control part 15 controls the applied voltage and the application timing of the non-contact type charging device 20 so that the bias voltage of the non-contact type charging device 20 is applied after application of the transfer current in a transfer means 11A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
