The present invention relates to a treatment method for cross-cut wood comprising: a cross-cut wood preparation step (S100) for cross-cutting wood and preparing the cross-cut wood of less than 200 mm thickness; a cross-cut wood immersing step (S200) for immersing the cross-cut wood in the solution, in which PEG of molecular weight of 400-1000 g/mol is diluted with water, for 1-10 days; and a heat treatment step (S300) for putting the immersed cross-cut wood into the dryer, internal temperature of 160-230°C is maintained, and exposing for 6-10 hours to remove moisture existing inside and outside the cross-cut wood and to change wood color for the beauty of exterior. By the treatment method according to the present invention, the cross-cut wood having a beautiful color but no crack is obtained.
