The method involves removing a cover and a container such that a free space is accessible. Holding elements (8, 14) are inserted into the free space, where the holding elements comprise a support for holding an electric appliance and/or control elements (12, 18) i.e. keyboards, for controlling the electric appliance. The cover is fitted in an original position. The container is co-acted with a positioning element such that the container is held in a position. The positioning element is formed as a screw connector, a stopper and/or a contact surface. The electric appliance is selected from a radio, a compact disk-player and an air conditioning apparatus. An independent claim is also included for a set for retrofitting a motor vehicle. |
