Glass-titanium seal and method for producing same

The glass-titanium seal (1) comprises a glass body (3), an outer side of which is firmly bonded with a pressure ring (2) and an inner side of which is bonded with an inner part (4). The pressure ring is made of titanium or a titanium alloy and mounted between the glass body and the pressure ring, and comprises a connecting layer (2.1, 4.1) made of nickel between the inner part and the glass body. The inner part and/or the pressure ring consists of titanium-aluminum alloy Ti6Al4V. An independent claim is included for a method of producing a glass-titanium seal.
