The laundry treatment machine has a drum which is supported in a housing (2) in a swiveling manner. A loading opening is closed with a door (3). A blower and a heating unit are provided for generating a process air flow. A filter cartridge (4) is made of a stretch forming filter block (7) for filtering dust. The stretch forming filter block is inserted as separate insertion part sealed in a flow channel (8). The insertion part is formed as stretch forming filter block and is made of foam plastic.
