Disclosed is a method for monitoring a livestock system. The method for monitoring a livestock system in a livestock system including a user terminal and a managing server receiving in real time information of a user terminal through a network includes: a step for registering a user terminal in the managing server; a step for receiving position information and time information of the user terminal from a GPS; a step for transmitting identification, position, and time information of the user terminal to the managing server; a step for checking whether the user terminal is a registered terminal based on the identification information; and a step for storing position and time information of the user terminal when the user terminal is checked as a registered terminal. When the user terminal leaves a predetermined area based on the stored position information, a message notifying the breakaway of the predetermined area to the user terminal and to a control server connected to the managing server, and the user terminal is attached to a vehicle entering/leaving an area in which livestock disease broke out.
