Embodiments of the present invention provide a power tuning method and a base station. The power tuning method includes: determining, by a first base station, power tuning information of a second cell according to a signal quality threshold and signal quality information of radio resources of the second cell; and sending, by the first base station, the power tuning information of the second cell to a second base station, so that the second base station tunes transmitted power of the radio resources of the second cell according to the power tuning information; where, the second cell is a neighboring cell of a first cell, the first cell is controlled by the first base station, and the second cell is controlled by the second base station. The embodiments of the present invention may realize dynamic tuning of transmitted power of radio resources and further reduce the waste of radio resources while reducing interference on neighboring cells. |
