A leaf seal for sealing a shaft rotating about an axis, in particular in a gas turbine, comprises a multiplicity of spaced-apart leaves (13; 13a-d) which are arranged in a concentric circle around the axis and are fixed in their position, the leaves (13; 13a-d), with their surface, being oriented essentially parallel to the axis. The leaf seal is improved by the leaves (13; 13a-d) each having integrally formed means (27a, b; 28, 29a, b; 30a, b) for positioning and retaining the leaves (13; 13a-d) in the leaf seal. |
