A steering drive axle assembly applied to commercial vehicles is provided. The steering drive axle assembly applied to the commercial vehicles comprises: a driving shaft rotated by receiving the power of an engine; an axle housing for protecting the driving shaft; a double cardan joint combined with the end of the driving shaft and delivering the power of the driving shaft to a wheel axle; a spindle for surrounding the outer surface of wheel axle cavity and in which a flange unit is formed at the end; a yoke connected to the end of the axle housing; a knuckle in which one side is connected through the yoke and a king pin and the other side is connected to the flange unit; a hub installed at the outer part of the spindle and connected to the wheel axle; and a brake drum installed at the outer part of the hub. A first connection flange unit and a second connection flange unit are formed at the axle housing and the end of the yoke in contact with the axle housing and fastened by a bolt. The yoke forms the first extension flange unit and a second extension flange unit having connection holes in which the king pins are connected to the upper/lower part. A reinforcing rib is protruding from the lower part of the second extension flange unit to improve bending strength of the yoke so that assembly and repairing convenience are improved. Furthermore, The damage of products generated in an operation process can be prevented through reinforcing the bending strength of components. |
