The present invention relates to damhyang ,a new variety strawberry, and a breeding method thereof. Damhyang of the present invention is made by breeding akihime (janghi) variety as a female parent with maehyang variety as a male parent. The fruit of the damhyang is short-cone shape even though the female and male variety of damhyang are short-cone shape. Damhyang ,a new variety strawberry, is propagated by seed or own tree.
