An aqueous preparation comprising A) at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible copolymer A) with cationogenic groups which comprises a) 3 to 15% by weight of N-vinylimidazole; b1) 30 to 70% by weight of N-vinylpyrrolidone; b2) 20 to 35% by weight of methacrylamide; b3) at least one monomer b3) which is selected from the group consisting of quaternization products of N-vinylimidazole and of dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide, whereby the amount of monomer b3) is at most 10% by weight, with the proviso that the sum of the amounts of components a) to b3) is 100% by weight, and B) at least one cosmetically acceptable carrier, wherein aqueous preparation has a pH from 4 to 6. The preparation is used for skin-cleansing, for the care and the protection of the skin, for the care of nail, for preparing decorative cosmetics or for preparing hair-treatment compositions. |
