The present invention relates to an optical fibre coupling device and to an optical fibre coupling assembly, each having a simple shape with reduced parts and which can be simply assembled. The optical fibre coupling device (1) comprises a housing (6) providing at least one passage (18) for an outgoing optical fibre cable (2) comprising at least one optical fibre element, and at least one access (3) for an incoming optical fibre cable (4) comprising at least one optical fibre element being connectable to said at least one optical fibre element of said at least one outgoing optical fibre cable (2). The optical fibre coupling device (1) further comprises an accommodating section (14) for accommodating and connecting the at least one optical fibre element of the outgoing optical fibre cable (2) with the at least one optical fibre element of the incoming optical fibre cable (4), and a fixation section (15) with at least one passageway (51) arranged between the accommodating section (14) and the at least one passage (18) for accommodating and securing against the housing (6) a predetermined length of the outgoing optical fibre cable (2).
