<p>An N-screen layout system using semantic web tag of hyper-text markup language (HTML) 5 and a running method for the same are disclosed. The N-screen layout system comprises a semantic web tag analysis module for analyzing web contents including the semantic web tag of HTML 5; a user agent analysis module for analyzing the user agent of a device and subsequently analyzing the type of mobile web browser, an operating system (OS), and the type of device; a media type analysis module for analyzing the size and resolution of display, and the media type of the web contents; and an N-screen layout module which arranges a layout for the display based on the type of device, the OS, and the type of mobile web browser analyzed by the user agent analysis module and applies a cascading style sheet (CSS) 3 based on the media type analyzed by the media type analysis module. The screen layout system using semantic web tag of HTML 5 and the running method for the same are capable of arranging an N-screen layout for various devices by allowing developers to produce only a single source program using the semantic web tag of HTML 5.
