It is provided an antifreeze device (1) adapted to become operative depending on the freezing of a fluid, comprising thermosensitive elastic means (52) made of a shape memory material, having an elasticity coefficient (K) varying as a function of the temperature (T), so that, when the temperature (T) is substantially lower than a minimum threshold close to the freezing temperature, the thermosensitive elastic means (52) is in a martensitic crystalline configuration (M) substantially defining a minimum elasticity coefficient, while, when the temperature (T) is substantially higher than a maximum threshold exceeding the freezing temperature, this means is in an austenitic crystalline configuration (A) substantially defining a maximum elasticity coefficient, and, when the temperature (T) is substantially included between said maximum threshold and minimum threshold, the thermosensitive means is in an at least partially rhombohedral crystalline configuration (R) substantially defining an elasticity coefficient greater than the minimum elasticity coefficient. |
