The process for obtaining nickel zinc carbide (Ni3ZnC) has been synthesized by means of the chemical reaction of novel components based on a mixture with stoichiometry 3:1:9 of hex-hydrated nickel nitrate [(Ni(NO3)2 6H2O Aldirch 244074-500G] (3.0098 g), hex-hydrated zinc nitrate [(Zn(NO3)2 6H2O Aldirch 228737-500 G] (1.0263 g) and graphitic carbon [C reactive grade at 99.99% Aldirch 484164-50 G] (0.3729 g) respectively, in a flow of a hydrogen gas mixture in nitrogen (Infra H2 5% g/mol) balance (N2 95% g/mol) at 120 cm3/min, at a temperature of 575°C and a reaction time of 60 minutes. |
