摘要 PURPOSE: An air fuel ratio control device with a photo diode sensor and a control method thereof are provided to observe and measure the state of direct flame in real time, and to continuously control the air fuel ratio over the whole load area. CONSTITUTION: An air fuel ratio control device with a photo diode sensor includes a component ratio control unit (110), an observing window (113), an ignition plug (114), a photo diode sensor, a supply fan, and a control unit. The component ratio control module includes a hollow burner, used for a domestic boiler, and a photo diode sensor (170) positioned on the one side of combustion chamber. The observing window is positioned on the one side of the combustion chamber. The ignition plug is positioned in the place where the burner and the combustion chamber contact with each other. The photo diode sensor is arranged outside the observing window of the combustion chamber so as to face the observing window. The supply fan is arranged on a first pipe which is communicated with the burner. The control unit controls the rotation speed of supply fan by being applied with the flame optical signal of flame light, which is generated by the operation of the ignition plug, through the photo diode. The photo diode sensor changes the size of photo diode signal according to being changed the air fuel ratio of flame and the strength of optical wavelength spectrum within the photo sensitivity range. The control unit controls the air fuel ratio by controlling the rotation speed of the supply fan applied according to the size of changed the photo diode signal.
