Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving a signal using watermarking sequence in a multi-tier network. According to the present invention, a method for receiving a signal with a receiving terminal in the multi-tier network include a step for receiving a signal including watermarking sequence and data from a transmitting terminal; and a step for detecting data using the watermarking sequence with regard to the received signal. The watermarking sequence is added to the data in a time region.
