The present invention relates to a washing machine comprising: a tub for receiving washing water; a drum which is arranged inside the tub to be able to rotate and which receives laundries; a pulsator which is arranged inside the drum to be able to rotate, and which has an outlet; a water flow forming unit which is arranged under the pulsator and which circulates the washing water received between the tub and the drum to form water flow erupted through the outlet; a filter cap for collecting foreign materials from the washing water erupted through the outlet; and a check valve for opening the outlet using the water flow formed by the water flow forming unit.
