Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for carrying out the above mentioned method, comprising at least three electrodes, which are connected by at least one switching device with at least one voltage source, where at least five electrodes are connected with at least one voltage source via four switching devices, and at least two electrodes are connected with the voltage source via a common switching device; and (2) a device for contacting at least two electrode assemblies (1), comprising at least two electrodes, which exhibit different dimensions, and contact elements, through which an electrical contact is produced to the electrodes of the electrode assemblies, where at least one contact element is arranged such that respective electrodes of the different electrode assemblies are contactable.
