<p>The present invention relates to a stack-fold type electrode assembly which includes an anode plate, cathode plate and a separation film arranged on both surfaces of an anode plate and cathode plate and is folded and deposited in a zigzag shape. The present invention comprises: a flat portion of the anode plate and cathode plate whereon an active material is coated; and a curved portion of the anode plate and cathode plate whereon an active material is not coated. According to the present invention, a crack in coating portions of active materials can be prevented when manufacturing an electrode assembly. In addition, an electrode assembly with higher energy density per volume than the jelly roll type electrode assembly can be provided. Therefore, an electrode assembly with better performance capacity than the jelly roll type electrode assembly can be provided, thereby improving the performance of a secondary battery.</p> |
