<p>Operating a plant purification system for water treatment or water purification using aquatic plants in at least partially closed photobioreactors with stacked culture trays (2), comprises passing the wastewater into an inlet tray (1), arranging the aquatic plants in the culture trays, and connecting the inlet tray filled with wastewater through at least one diffusion element in a diffusion fitting manner so that the water in the culture tray comprises lower material concentration compared to the water in the inlet tray. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a floating tray used in the above mentioned method, comprising producing at least the bottom of the floating culture trays from a material of beads or particles in a thermally assisted molding process, in which the capillarity is adjustable by selection of the dimensions of the beads or particles, pressing pressure and/or the process temperature; and (2) the plant purification system comprising at least partially closed outer shell in the form of the photobioreactor forming enclosure, within which at least partially aquatic low light plants are cultivated in stacked trays, where (a) the wastewater is passed into the inlet tray, (b) the aquatic plants are placed in separate culture trays, (c) the inlet tray is arranged adjacent to or under the culture trays, and (d) the inlet tray is connected in diffusion fitting manner with the culture tray through at least one diffusion element.</p> |
