PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diversify information provided when using contents.SOLUTION: An information processing device determines some games to be displayed on a start screen out of acquired games available in the own device (Sa2). The information processing device then acquires game information from an external server device (Sa6). This game information is information on games that are topical and popular among the people and may include unacquired games, i.e., unavailable games in the information processing device. The information processing device further determines the games to be displayed on the start screen based on the acquired game information (Sa7). The information processing device then displays, on the start screen, objects corresponding to the games determined in the step Sa2, and objects determined in the step Sa7 (Sa8).
