PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of display medium, a drive program of the display medium and a display device capable of uniformizing a group of particles without allowing a viewer to visually recognize unlike the case a voltage is applied across substrates for uniformizing the group of particles.SOLUTION: On a display medium 10 which has: a pair of substrates including a display substrate 50 and a back substrate 52 disposed opposite to the display substrate 50 being interposed by a gap; and a group of colored particles 62 sealed between substrates of a display side electrode 54 formed at the display substrate 50 side and plural back side electrodes 56 formed at the back substrate 52 side so as to move between the substrates according to an electric field formed between the pair of substrates, a drive device 20 applies a first voltage, which is a voltage of a threshold value voltage or less for generating an electric field for separating the group of colored particles 62 from a substrate in the pair of substrates as well as a voltage larger than a voltage for generating an electric field that separates the group of colored particles 62 from one back side electrode 56 between the neighboring back side electrodes 56, to at least one of the neighboring back side electrodes 56. |
