摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for placing a light emitting element thereon, capable of showing effectively a reflection characteristic carried originally by titanium dioxide as a white pigment.SOLUTION: In a glass ceranic substrate for placing a light emitting element thereon, (a) glass ceranic contains a 69-80 wt.% glass component and a 20-31 wt.% inorganic filler, (b) the glass component contains, in the 100 wt.% glass component, (1) 30-41 wt.% SiO, (2) 29-35 wt.% AlO, (3) 18-22 wt.% BO, (4) a 9-16 wt.% total of CaO, MgO, SrO, BaO and ZnO, (5) 3-7 wt.% MgO, and (6) a 0-1,000 wt ppm total of LiO, NaO and KO, and (c) the inorganic filler contains TiO.
