PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specification input auxiliary device, a specification input auxiliary method and specification input auxiliary program for improving efficiency of input work of specification data about a plurality of merchandise whose item numbers are the same, but whose characteristics (for example, colors or sizes) are different.SOLUTION: When an item number code is input to a text box included in an order reception specification input screen, (1) an item number name and a plurality of merchandise characteristic value data (merchandise characteristic value codes and merchandise characteristic value names) associated with the input item number code are searched from an item number master; (2) a merchandise development auxiliary screen on which the input item number code and the searched item number name are displayed in the text box, and the plurality of searched merchandise characteristic value names are displayed in an input/display area is generated; and (3) a generated merchandise development auxiliary screen is displayed on a monitor. |
