PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet embedded type electric motor capable of suppressing vibration and noise by reducing a torque ripple while securing sufficient magnetic force.SOLUTION: A magnet 14 comprises a first magnet 14a, and a second magnet 14b arranged on an inner-diameter side of the first magnet 14a, and a rotor iron core 12 is provided with an outer peripheral thin iron core part 6 formed between an outer peripheral surface 10 of the rotor iron core 12 and an outer-diameter side face 14a1 of the first magnet, and an inter-magnet-layer iron core part 7 formed between an inner-diameter side face 14a2 of the first magnet 14a and an outer-diameter side face 14b1 of the second magnet 14b, a radial thickness C of the outer peripheral thin iron core part 6 being 1/3 time or less as large as a thickness A of the first magnet 14a at a peripheral center part. |
