The security adapter program of the embodiments allows a monitoring device to additionally function as a security adapter means for mediating communication between internal applications and an external application. The security adapter means comprises a receiving means, a first processing means, a delivery means and a sending means. The receiving means receives a request message specifying a service name from the external application. The first processing means searches a first storage means on the basis of the service name in the request message that was received, and processes the request message in such a manner as to include an application name obtained via the search in a destination. The delivery means delivers the processed request message to a first common bus. The sending means sends the delivered message to the external application when the sent message is received via a bus connection adapter and the first common bus from one of the internal applications.
