The present invention pertains to an alkali-free glass having: a strain point of 680 to 735°C; an average coefficient of thermal expansion at 50 to 350°C of 30 × 10-7 to 43 × 10-7/°C; and a specific gravity of 2.60 or less. Furthermore, the alkali-free glass contains, in terms of mole percent on an oxide basis, 65 to 69% SiO2, 11.5 to 14% Al2O3, 3 to 6.5% B2O3, 1 to 5% MgO, 7.5 to 12% CaO, 0 to 1% SrO, 0.5 to 6% BaO, and 0 to 2% ZrO2. |
