Device for discharging coke from a furnace chamber (1) of a coke oven, comprises an emission shaft (4), a drive and guide device through which discharge of the coke can be inserted into the emission shaft in the furnace chamber which is open on opposite sides, a supporting device for supporting the emission shaft extending on the ground of the drive and guide device, and an apparatus for automatically adjusting the length of the supporting device to the respective height of the emission shaft with the level of the ground.
