PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft rod having a base body whose rigidity and structure can be easily adapted to various applications.SOLUTION: A base body 12 of a shaft rod 11 includes at least one receiving space extended in the longitudinal direction L. The receiving space is completely open through an opening 28 at one side as viewed in the longitudinal direction L. A first section of a reinforcement rod 26 can be inserted into the receiving space through the opening 28. The inserted reinforcement rod 26 is held in the receiving space by restriction means on the base body 12. The reinforcement rod 26 is bonded to the base body 12 by the adhesion of their materials to each other. The first section has a substantially constant first width. A second section is provided as a stage so as to be adjacent to the first section. The second section has a second width. This width is different from that of the first section.
