PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission/reception system capable of stably performing communication, and a power transmission device and a power reception device used for the system.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a power transmission/reception system including a power transmission device and a power reception device is provided. The power transmission device includes: a power transmission unit for wirelessly transmitting electric power to the power reception device; and a first wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication of a data frame including data with the power reception device. The power reception device includes: a power reception unit for receiving electric power transmitted from the power transmission unit; and a second wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication of the data frame with the first wireless communication unit by using the received electric power. While the power reception unit does not receive electric power, the second wireless communication unit performs wireless communication.
