PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device using a PLD (Programmable Logic Device), which can enhance a processing speed of an application and achieve low power consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises a programmable logic device and a processor which is not dynamically reconfigured. In a memory element of the programmable logic device, a plurality of pieces of configuration data determined by a memory module that they are used frequently among pieces of configuration data corresponding to a thread are stored. The memory element includes a storage element and a switch for supplying, retaining and discharging an electric charge by an amount determined by the stored plurality pieces of configuration data to and from the storage element in each memory cell. |
